Pontiac Mayor Greimel Endorses Levin in New Eleventh District

PONTIAC, MI – Today, Pontiac Mayor Tim Greimel announced his endorsement of Congressman Andy Levin, who is running for reelection in the newly-drawn Eleventh District of Michigan which includes Pontiac.
“Congressman Andy Levin has been a champion for working people for decades, and I know he will be a champion of Pontiac in Congress,” said Mayor Greimel. “His work in Congress is all about creating opportunity, raising our standard of living and standing up for what is right. He believes in collaboration and has demonstrated his ability to work with local governments, his constituents and civic organizations to bring resources to our communities, navigate the pandemic and restore people’s faith in government.”
“I’m quite honored to receive the endorsement of Mayor Greimel and frankly so excited about the idea of serving Pontiac,” said Congressman Levin. “Mayor Greimel and the seven dynamic, diverse and all-new city council members bring so much energy to our County seat. I hope to have the opportunity to work together, and I look forward to earning the trust and support of the voters of Pontiac.”
Congressman Levin has received the endorsement of the Utility Workers Union of America; International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers; UNITE HERE Local 24; and Oakland County Commissioners Penny Luebs (D-Clawson), Gary McGillivray (D-Madison Heights) and Charlie Cavell (D-Ferndale).
