End Citizens United Endorses Levin After No Corporate PAC Pledge

May 20, 2022

WASHINGTON, DC – Following his pledge to refuse corporate PAC money, Congressman Andy Levin (D-Bloomfield Twp.), received the endorsement of End Citizens United // Let America Vote, the foremost group fighting corruption in politics and getting big money out of politics.

“As special interest money is flowing into primaries across the country — including right here in my home of MI-11 — I am proud to be the only candidate in the race to take the No Corporate PAC money pledge and to earn this key endorsement,” said Congressman Levin. “In Congress, I was proud to author and pass through the House the Transparency in Corporate Political Spending Act to shine a light on dark money spending as part of H.R. 1. I look forward to working with End Citizens United to win reelection and return our democracy back to working families instead of the wealthy few.”

“Since he arrived in Washington, Congressman Levin has been a champion for the people of Michigan, consistently fighting for them, not corporate special interests. He is refusing to take a single cent from corporate PACs, so Michiganders know he’s accountable to them–and only them,” said End Citizens United // Let America Vote President Tiffany Muller.

He’s also authored the Transparency in Corporate Political Spending Act, which would create more transparency on how corporate America funds radical dark money groups. We’re proud to endorse him,”

Congressman Levin’s scorecard with End Citizens United was upgraded from an A to an A+, the highest mark of the incumbents in the race.

Levin has received every national union, environmental, climate change, and progressive foreign policy endorsement in the race. You can read the full list here.

On Tuesday, May 24, Congressman Andy Levin will debate Congresswoman Haley Stevens at Oakland University.
